TERMS OF SERVICE
HOME BAKERY DISCLAIMER: All baked goods and orders are prepared in a home kitchen that is not subject to regulation and inspection by the regulatory authority; and may contain allergens.
We can cater to allergen friendly requests, but there is always the chance of cross contamination when working in a shared kitchen with known allergens. Our Bake Someone Happy Home Bakery does our best to ensure this does not happen, but in the rare case that it does, we are not responsible for any cross-contamination that may or may not occur.
ORDERS: Orders must be secured with payment at the time of ordering or at least 7 days prior to your event date. Sometimes we can accommodate an order with shorter notice, so please get in touch with us to discuss your needs. A convenience fee may apply if we accept your short notice order, this is determined on a case-by-case basis.

All celebration orders under $150 require payment in full at the time of booking.

All celebration orders over $150 require a booking fee of 50%. Short notice orders placed within fourteen days of the collection date are an exception and must be paid in full at the time of ordering.

All wedding orders require a booking fee of 50% which is required to secure your order. Short notice orders placed within one month of the wedding date are an exception and must be paid in full at the time of ordering. Wedding orders totaling less than $300 require full payment at the time of ordering.

Celebration orders (over $150) – final payment is required seven (7) days before the collection/event date.

Wedding orders – final payment is required four (4) weeks before collection, event date, or delivery.

DELIVERY FEE: Order pickups are preferred at our home location in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. Address will be given to paying customers prior to order pickup.
Free delivery or meet up within a 5-mile radius of Round Lake Beach
Delivery can be accommodated and would incur a delivery fee if over 5 miles from our location.
A delivery fee of $0.60/per mile round trip, Delivery days are Wednesday-Sunday only with $75 minimum
Our Bake Someone Happy Home Bakery is not responsible for any delay or inability to deliver based on accidents, natural disasters, transportation issues, inclement weather, illness, death, labor troubles, delay of supplies, disputes, strikes, or any other circumstance beyond our control.
In the event of an unavoidable situation, such as a car accident or poor road conditions during delivery, Our Bake Someone Happy Home Bakery cannot be held liable for more than the cost of the order and will refund, at our discretion, minus your non-refundable booking fee and/or deposit.
Non-Payments, Cancellations, Refunds: Our Bake Someone Happy Home Bakery will only complete an order if paid for in full. If the invoice is not paid in full before or by the due date, you forfeit your order and any and all deposits paid. At the discretion of Our Bake Someone Happy Home Bakery, there will be no credit given for Celebration orders cancelled inside of four (4) business days, this is determined by a case-by-case basis. For cancellations with more than six (6) business days’ notice, credit may be given for a future order (This offer is subject to the date being available), less the fair market value of items that cannot be re-used or for custom items purchased for your order.
Wedding Cancellations within four (4) weeks of the event day, forfeit all and any deposits. Wedding cancellations or Date changes prior to four (4) weeks may be entitled to a refund at our discretion, minus any items that were purchased in preparation for your order/event. We will do our best to accommodate date changes, but this is also subject to our availability of the new date.
Our Bake Someone Happy Home Bakery will not offer refunds or exchanges for custom products that meet our quality standards once a cake has been picked up/delivered and “Accepted” by you or another designated party. Additionally, under no circumstances will we provide a refund of more than the cost of the order, if damages occur due to the fault of the baker. All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our possession.
In the event a client is a "no show" on the agreed upon pickup day, said order will be wrapped and stored for 24 hrs. If there is no contact from the customer to arrange a new pickup time, after 24 hours you forfeit your order and any and all deposits and payments and your order will be donated to a charity at the baker’s discretion.
